Benefit Trust Update

If you haven’t received your Great West Life/OTIP benefit package by now, you are certainly encouraged to contact the OTIP Call Centre who can verify the member’s address, that one was sent out, and re-issue another if necessary. They can be reached at 1-866-783-6847 (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm).

Remedy Payment

Payroll has indicated that they have decided to issue a separate payment for the remedy pay out.  If you were employed for the both years you will receive $899 and and $449 directly deposited into your bank if you are currently employed with the board.  If you are no longer employed with the board then a cheque will be mailed to the mailing address on file with the ALCDSB payroll department.
This money is not going to be on your T4.
If you do not receive your payout by February 1, 2018 please let a member of the Executive know.
